“A therapist helps a patient not by sifting through the past but by being lovingly present with that person; by being trustworthy, interested; and by believing that their joint activity will ultimately be redemptive and healing.” ---- Irwin D. Yalom

The Work
Hi! My name is Sirui, and I am a graduate-level clinical mental health counseling intern with a person-centered foundation, integrating narrative therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), existential therapy and more. I work primarily with people navigating identity exploration, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges—especially those who have felt pressure to perform, achieve, or care for others at the cost of their own wellbeing.
As a multilingual, international student, and immigrant, I bring cultural humility and lived experience into the room. I offer therapy in English and Mandarin and approach my work with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for clients’ lived wisdom. I believe that therapy is about making space to remember, reclaim, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
My hope is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward—not as someone who is broken, but as someone becoming.
