I am currently a graduate student at the University of Baltimore, getting my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and am excited to be interning at BACC. I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I have experience working as an outreach worker in a community mental health center, working with a diverse range of individuals across Baltimore County. I also have experience working at a mental health clinic in Baltimore working with children and adolescents from the surrounding community.
I look to create a safe and judgement-free therapeutic space for individuals. I value rapport-building by providing empathy and positive regard to those I work with while also being direct, transparent, and collaborative. My therapeutic approach is strength-based and person-centered. I also look to tailor my approach to each individual to help them achieve their desired outcome.
I like working with people from all walks of life and I strive to be a culturally competent future therapist. I have experience working with young children (8+), adolescents, and adults.
