The Work

Chester (aka Chessie) is a 24-year-old Haflinger Pony standing at 13.2 hands. He is a newer resident of Dun-Pikin and spent his life before arriving on the farm residing among sheep. Because of his upbringing, it took him some time to acclimate to being with Equine colleagues, but after doing some deep identity work, he has found his forever home and "fits right in." Chessie has a high frustration tolerance, is excellent in social situations, enjoys interacting with humans, and loves physical affection. While Chessie loves connection, he will test boundaries and has a strong-willed personality that will support patients with boundary and attachment work.

Likes: eating hay, cheetah print fly masks, and neck scratches.

Population: Kids, teens, and adults. Anxiety, attachment trauma, depressive disorders.
