Carmen Grant, LCSW (she/her/hers)

The Work

Hello there. I’m Carmen. I'll teach you how to connect your brain and body so you can be fully present in your life. As an LCSW, I take an integrated approach to therapy, utilizing cuttingedge tactics like EMDR and somatic attachment therapy. This means I am constantly assessing and evaluating what is working, and what needs to change. You will not get a cookie-cutter version of therapy from me. I utilize an integrated method of psychotherapy that starts with EMDR and that morphs into whatever you need during the session. My therapy style is laid-back, personal, and effective. I see that my approach leads to quicker connections and a more complete healing for my clients. I won't ever tell you to pick yourself up from your bootstraps and suck it up. Sucking it up and denying your pain isn't brave or admirable - it is dangerous. Bravery is being here, looking for help, and preparing to build the skills you need to live.
