HE/HIM
I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and life experiences and strive to provide a compassionate and collaborative environment where clients can explore their challenges, build resilience, and move towards meaningful change. While I enjoy working with a wide range of concerns and populations, I am particularly passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate periods of growth, uncertainty, identity development, and general life transitions. I understand that these stages of life can bring unique challenges and am committed to helping clients strengthen their sense of self and develop healthy coping strategies they may benefit from.
Along with this, I also have a special interest in working with individuals who may be navigating cultural integration/acculturation, and other multicultural experiences, and who may be questioning their surrounding cultural identity. Having personally experienced the complexities of balancing one’s cultural identity with the surrounding environment, I understand just how difficult it can be to find a sense of belonging while still honoring the original parts of oneself. As such, this understanding helps deepen my level of empathy and informs my approach, which allows me to support clients as they equally explore their identity, sense of belonging, and personal growth with curiosity and compassion.
I am currently in my final year of the Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Johns Hopkins University and am continuing to deepen my clinical skills and overall commitment to providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care. Above all, I believe that therapy is a collaborative process built on authenticity, curiosity, and trust. As such, I look forward to walking alongside clients as they cultivate greater self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful, lasting growth!
“To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.”
