Monica McInerney is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s Program at Johns Hopkins University. She studied sociology and biology in undergrad and brings a sociological perspective to much of her counseling. If you are experiencing interpersonal/relationship challenges, anxiety, issues with confidence, or identity exploration, Monica may be a good fit for you. She utilizes person-centered, Adlerian, feminist, and other therapies in her practice and strives to create a community-oriented, culturally responsive, sex-positive, and LGBTQIA+ -affirming space for her clients. Monica has specific interests in working with couples or polyamorous units, families, and groups.
