Hi, I’m Maria. I’m joining Bay Area Counseling as an Intake Coordinator, and I’m really passionate about helping people feel seen and supported from the very first step. I believe that empathy isn’t just something you say, it’s something you practice through presence, patience, and care.

Connecting with people comes naturally to me. I love being that person who listens, makes others feel comfortable, and helps guide them toward what they need. It means a lot to me to be part of a team that values compassion and understanding.

I was born and raised in Brazil, and I carry that warmth and openness into everything I do. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, cooking, traveling and finding small moments of peace in my day.
