Kristin Puryear

Kristin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has clinical experience treating children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings including home-based case management, outpatient mental health clinics, and hospitals

Kristin’s clinical specialties include: survivors of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, mood disorders, significant life transitions and self-esteem concerns. For the past 5 years, Kristin has enjoyed incorporating equine assisted psychotherapy into her practice.

She strongly values the relationship between client and therapist, and feels that the trust developed in this relationship is a key component to driving growth and change. Kristin appreciates how challenging it can be to be vulnerable; she strives to create a safe, inclusive environment to assist clients in reaching their goals.
